What a difference a year makes. Well, 14 months to be exact. In April 2014, we launched our new website and announced a major expansion at our HQ and manufacturing facility in Sterling, IL. To say we’ve been busy is an understatement. With a big sigh of relief and a sense of accomplishment, we are excited to announce that both were successfully launched. But, we also realize that neither project is ever really, really done – each is a constant work in progress to inform, expand, improve and respond in the best way possible to serve our growing customer base.
With this mindset, the changes at our HQ and production facility in Sterling began with an expansion of our overall footprint by 55,000 sq. ft. We have increased our area for raw materials storage and added new equipment for faster, more accurate automated processes. We’ve redesigned work stations and streamlined shipping and receiving areas with several more dock doors; all resulting in better quality, service, and shorter lead times.
If you’re familiar with our blog, you know that our in-house testing lab is a major resource for our customers and forum for new, creative gravity flow solutions – the lab now has new testing lanes and equipment to handle multiple projects at the same time.
